What lessons did you learn about yourself throughout your journey?
Never to give up - I struggle with my mental health, + the fact that I was able to create this brand while battling debilitating anxiety + panic attacks tells me how strong I really am.
What motivates you to keep going during difficult times?
My grandmother was a Holocaust survivor, and I'll never forget she said the one thing she never gave up was "HOPE" - and if she can say that in the most horrific time of her life, I know I can keep going even when things get tough.
How do you define self-care, and what does it look like for you?
To me, self-care means eating well, working out, and having a creative outlet. You must be able to find time that is just for you and no one else. There are no rules; just be yourself in that moment.
What changes needed to be made in your life to allow you to live a life where you feel fulfilled?
The hardest decision in my life was to leave the corporate world and start my own business—to find happiness inside and out. I always felt I was pretending to be happy in the job I thought I always wanted when on the inside, I was ready for change. It took 13 years, but it wasn't until I had my second child and COVID hit that I was ready to make the jump fully!
Why do you think it's important for mothers to share their journeys and inspire other mothers?
For a long time, women were always competing, but now more than ever, we are actually each other's best advocates. I try to support other women entrepreneurs as much as I can. Together, we can do GREAT things!
What is one lesson or piece of advice you would like the community to learn from you?
If there is something you want or can't find in the world, chances are you are not the only one. I was always looking for Modern, colorful, and fun Judaica, especially when I became a Mom, and I could never find anything that resonated with me.
